I'm really pleased to have finally got my blog off the ground. I've suffered for a long time with constipation. It started after I was pregnant with our first child and I've had problems with it ever since. Our eldest has suffered with constipation too as a toddler and it’s always been a problem for him, especially if we don’t keep an eye on it.
I wanted to start this blog to share my experiences and some of the techniques and lifestyle changes that have helped me overcome the awful symptoms of constipation.
I’ve tried all sorts of constipation remedies, both natural and medical or over-the-counter. Certainly I’ve had most success with the natural constipation remedies, but I’ve had to keep at them and make them changes in my daily routine as a habit.
I’d say the techniques that have been best for me have probably been consciously drinking more water, taking more exercise, and watching what I eat. It’s not just about eating more fiber - it’s about making sure to avoid processed food that plays havoc with your digestion too.
